The STIMFLOW® is an abdo-perineal biofeedback stimulator for the rehabilitation of pelvic static pathologies. Combined with Winner Flow and/or perineal and abdominal electrodes, it's the perfect device for long-term protection of the perineum through Abdomino-Perineo-Expiratory (A.P.E.) rehabilitation.

STIMFLOW®, electrostimulator for abdo-perineal rehabilitation.
Proprioceptive stimulation restores :
- Abdominal stimulation: synchronization between the transversus muscles and the diaphragm.
- Perineal stimulation: synchronization between the transversus muscles and the perineum.
- It also restores the function of good pressure transmission and abdomino-diaphragmatic synergy to protect the perineum.
By blowing into the Winner Flow, the patient triggers electrostimulation of the abdominal or perineal area via the STIMFLOW®.
During exercise, the patient follows the evolution of his or her breath on the device's built-in biofeedback screen.
The pelvic floor is then re-educated in the same way, using a non-invasive cutaneous perineal electrode. The levator ani is the muscle largely responsible for continence and organ support, hence the importance of working the anal sphincter with the perineal electrode.
This global re-education technique, based on breathing combined with proprioceptive stimulation of the abdomen and perineum, recovers 2 muscles: the abdominal muscles and the perineo-sphincter system:
This is Abdomino-Perineo Expiratory Re-education (A.P.E.), to be followed at the practitioner's office but also at home, with compulsory follow-up by the therapist who must ensure that the exercises are performed correctly and regularly.
